story-to-game
Adapt a novel/script/story outline into a playable "branching-narrative text game" JSON script, paired with the open-source "Branching Narrative Game Launcher" by the author Shan Yin (single-file HTML, opens directly in the browser) to immerse yourself in play. It covers a full nine-step pipeline: source intake and memory indexing, style-fingerprint extraction, structural breakdown and branching design, a state system and ending matrix, segmented writing, JSON output, 13 automated checks, example proofreading, and launcher import instructions. It is not a simple format conversion, but a narrative adaptation system of "source understanding → style fidelity → branching design → quality verification": it automatically plans the number of nodes and playtime based on volume, allocates attitude/path/fate branches proportionally, fills in transition nodes, builds dramatic main stat values and a multi- type ending matrix, and rules out dead ends and broken links. The input can be a short/medium/full-length novel, a script, or a story outline; the output is a JSON script file compliant with the launcher spec. It suits Chinese-language creators who want to turn existing works into a shareable interactive text-game demo.
