Terms of Service

Effective May 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

socialistic.ai (the "Service") is operated by 海苔社区 ("海苔社区", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and 海苔社区 governing your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account, accessing, or using any feature of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

The Service lets a creator publish a Skill as a shareable interactive card, and lets other people run that Skill in a conversation session. A creator either uses Own key mode by supplying their LLM API key, or chooses to have the Skill hosted on the platform's credit system ("credits"). The Service runs across a web and API layer on Vercel, skill-execution agents ("Goose agents") on virtual private servers managed by 海苔社区, and authentication, database, and storage from Supabase. We may change this technical architecture at any time, provided the change does not materially weaken the security protections described in these Terms.

3. Accounts and Security

Some features require you to sign in through a supported method — currently Google, GitHub, or WeChat, or a one-time email sign-in link; the methods available depend on your region. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account, and you must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You confirm that you are at least thirteen (13) years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You keep all ownership rights in the content you provide through the Service, including the Skills you publish, the API keys you configure, the files and links you upload, and the messages you submit. You grant 海苔社区 a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit your content only as needed to operate the Service — for example, showing your Skill card to the people you share it with and forwarding your messages to the applicable LLM provider. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to reasonable backup retention periods.

5. Skills and the Sharing Model

A Skill is the configuration a creator publishes as a single card. A Skill becomes shareable as soon as it can serve LLM calls — either because the creator has enabled Own key mode with an API key, or because the creator has enabled platform hosting. There is no separate draft or archive state; to stop sharing a Skill, the creator removes the key or disables hosting. People you share a Skill with ("consumers") can run it and view its public-facing card, but never see its internal configuration, instructions, or API key. The share page and the card's cold-start surface can be viewed without an account; starting an actual conversation requires the consumer to sign in.

6. LLM API Keys: Security and Cost

When a creator uses Own key mode to power a Skill, the following applies:

  • Your API key is never shown to consumers, to other creators, or to anyone you share your Skill with. It never appears in a shared page, link, share surface, or conversation. Only you, signed in to your own account, can view or change the key you configured.
  • Your API key is stored on our servers and used solely to serve LLM calls for your Skill. It is transmitted only over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, and access to the systems that hold it is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • You are solely responsible for all usage, rate limits, quotas, and charges billed against your API key by the LLM provider. We recommend you set spending limits and usage caps directly with your provider.
  • We do not resell, proxy, warrant, or guarantee any third-party LLM service, and we do not provide a usage dashboard for your key — consult your LLM provider's own dashboard to monitor consumption. If you believe your key has been misused on the Service, report it as described in Section 12; you may also remove or rotate the key at any time to immediately stop sharing.

7. credits Credits

"credits" are the internal credits used on the Service. credits let a creator host a Skill on the platform's LLM key instead of using Own key mode, and let consumers run hosted Skills and tip creators.

  • Creators receive credits when a consumer chooses to tip them. Users may also receive credits through promotional grants from the platform. Any conversion rate between credits and currency, and any applicable platform fee, are shown within the Service at the point of the transaction.
  • credits are spent when a consumer runs a hosted Skill — the upstream LLM cost is drawn from a credit wallet — or sends a tip. Every credit movement is recorded in an append-only ledger that identifies who paid, why, and what authorized the charge; your wallet balance reflects that ledger.
  • Credits have no cash value outside the Service, cannot be exchanged for or withdrawn as money, and are not transferable except through Service features. Once spent, credits are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. Credits move only with your explicit authorization — we do not charge your wallet without an action you took that disclosed the cost.

8. Hosting and Consumption Modes

Two independent choices govern how a Skill runs:

  • Hosting mode is chosen by the creator. It decides how the LLM call is served and which account absorbs the upstream cost — either the creator's Own key mode API key, or the platform's hosted key, in which case hosted runs are billed in credits.
  • Consumption mode is chosen by the consumer for each session. It decides who can see the conversation trace. The consumer only ever chooses visibility and is not exposed to the hosting mode.
  • These two choices are independent. A credit charge applies only when a Skill is hosted on the platform; for Own key mode the upstream cost is settled outside the Service.

9. Third-Party Skills and Disclaimers

Skills on the Service are created, configured, and published by independent creators, not by 海苔社区. We do not review, audit, endorse, certify, or guarantee the behavior, safety, accuracy, legality, or fitness for purpose of any Skill or its output. The creator is solely responsible for the instructions and configuration of their Skill, the API key used to power it, any data-handling or privacy implications of its design, and compliance with all applicable laws. If you believe a Skill violates these Terms, report it as described in Section 12.

10. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will not use the Service, directly or indirectly, to:

  • publish, distribute, or operate a Skill that attacks, phishes, defrauds, or otherwise harms the people running or interacting with it;
  • harvest, scrape, or exfiltrate another user's credentials, API keys, personal data, conversations, or other confidential information;
  • generate, store, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, sexually exploits minors, incites violence, or constitutes hate speech under applicable law;
  • use, abuse, or misappropriate another person's LLM API key or credits wallet, or circumvent rate limits, access controls, billing, or usage quotas imposed by us or any third-party provider;
  • probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure beyond normal, authorized product use.

We may investigate and act on any violation of this Section, including issuing warnings, suspending or terminating accounts, removing Skills or conversations, freezing credit balances obtained through abuse, and reporting violations to law enforcement where required or appropriate.

11. LLM Output Disclaimer

Skills run on third-party large language models. Their output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, misleading, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for evaluating and independently verifying any output you receive. 海苔社区 does not warrant the correctness, reliability, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any Skill output, and reliance on it is at your own risk.

12. Abuse Reporting and Appeals

We rely on reports to keep the Service safe. This section explains how to raise a concern and how to challenge an action taken against you.

  • To report a Skill, a user, or suspected misuse of an API key or credits, email us at official@tinkerland.app with the subject line "Abuse Report". Include the Skill link or account involved, a description of the problem, and any supporting evidence. We treat the reporter's identity as confidential and do not disclose it to the reported party.
  • We review each report and may, in our reasonable discretion, warn, suspend, or terminate an account, remove a Skill or conversation, or freeze a credit balance. We aim to acknowledge reports and complete an initial review within a commercially reasonable time.
  • If we take action against your account or content and you believe it was mistaken, you may appeal by replying to our notice or emailing official@tinkerland.app with the subject line "Appeal". Describe why you believe the action was incorrect and include any relevant context. We will review the appeal and respond with our decision; where an action is reversed, any wrongly affected credit balance is restored.

13. Availability, Maintenance, and Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TINKERLAND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. The Service is maintained on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis with no service-level agreement or uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time; we will give registered users thirty (30) days' notice before discontinuing the Service as a whole. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 海苔社区 disclaims liability for any downtime, data loss, or loss of conversations.

14. Termination

You may delete your Skills and close your account at any time through the Service. 海苔社区 may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, create a material risk to other users or to the security of the Service, or as required by law. Any unspent credits obtained legitimately are handled in accordance with applicable law. Upon termination we remove your personal data in line with the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TINKERLAND AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF TINKERLAND HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

16. Modifications to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Effective" date above and, where practicable, give notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
